4) Chrysler 200
The Chrysler 200 isn’t an ugly car, but it doesn’t stand out much either. It had a rough go of it with Consumer Reports and has been discontinued for 2018 due to a lack of profitability. This is despite the very well-received and popular Super Bowl commercial featuring the 200 and Eminem back in 2011, which had garnered more than 18 million views by the end of 2017. It managed to bomb in the ratings across the board for the mid-size Sedan category. It had the lowest overall score, the lowest road-test score, and the lowest predicted reliability. Specific criticisms included the unreliable transmission, the backseat feeling claustrophobic, and poor handling. The top-rated alternative is the Kia Optima, though the report states there many better options in this category.
