9 Worst Cars You Can Buy
8) Land Rover Discovery Sport
Land Rovers have been around since the first model was designed in 1947. Throughout the decades there have been many incarnations of this distinctive vehicle. The Land Rover Discovery Sport missed the mark in the Luxury Compact SUV category, however. Its reliability is much worse than average, and Consumer Reports noted issues with the transmission and turbo four-cylinder engine. The report found it handled reasonably well off-road, but was stiff and not very sporty. The interior is surprisingly plain for a luxury vehicle and the infotainment system isn’t very smooth in its operation. The price range is $37,455-$45,995. So, what’s a good alternative? According to this report, the Mercedes-Benz GLC is the best option. Hopefully, that makes amends for the previously mentioned disappointment of the Mercedes-Benz CLA.
